Poyet's Method

Poyet’ Osteopathy is a particular technique which can be easily teached to the professionals because of their knowleidge of anatomy, manual care or help relation.
Energizing osteopathy from the work of Maurice Poyet touch the body by different energizing approaches and by the use of the particular somatotopies called "Poyet’s chains". This teaching apply to professionals and to the persons already formed to a technique of care (memotherapists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, doctors, acupuncturists, nurses, naturopaths, podiatrists, shiatsu therapists, aromaterapists, reflexologists, midwifes, therapists, kinesiologists, ergonomics, professors of yoga and qi-gong, hypnotizers, sophrologists, and the other motivated persons).

_Pre-required

For all :
- Capacity to be into the hands.

For the medical and ancillary medical staff:
- Knowledge of the osteology of the spinal column and the following cranial bones: occipital, parietal, frontal, ethmoid, maxillary, temporal, sphenoid , palatine and zygomatic
- Knowledge of the directions, the plans, and the movements in anatomy (rotations and translations applied to all the plans).

_The teacher

I am 33 years old, I am a therapist and teacher in Marseille (France) and in various european cities.

Route concerning the manual approaches

Interested in the energetic and manual care during my adolescence, I turn towards the masso-physiotherapy, the cranio-sacred approach and the Poyet’s energetic osteopathy.

In 2001, I open my office in Marseille, then in 2004 I begin to pass on this technique motivated by its sweetness, its depth and its efficiency.

Today
Today, I continue the research in osteopathy on the axes of the intuitive and psychological approach of the patient. The practical and ethical aspects have priority in consultation as in training.

_Progress

Two trainings of 2 or 3 days spaced out of month. Group from 3 to 6 persons of similar training. Total cost for 4 days: 550 euro in Marseille, 600 to 1000 euro in another european city.

In Marseille, the training takes place in my office.
Other regions: I need a table of massage for 3 participating and of a paper-board.

An illustrated document summarizing the important points of the training will be supplied to you, as well as a certificate of training.

• How to restabilize himself by the Poyet’s technique

• Improvement of the acquired techniques

_And after

You can use the technique right from the end of the first training. There is the classic implementations (lumbago, neck’s pain, visceral), and you will certainly find new applications corresponding to your needs.
If you wish to go further into your energy and intuitive access of the person, you can envisage a training of memotherapy.
